U.S. operations lead with 14.8% margins as Just Bare brand hits $1 billion in retail sales.

Pilgrim's Pride Corp. reported net sales of $18.5 billion for 2025, driven by growth across its U.S., European and Mexican operations, the company announced.

The company posted adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $2.3 billion, achieving a 12.3% margin. The U.S. segment led performance with a 14.8% adjusted EBITDA margin, while Europe reached 8.4% and Mexico posted 8.8%.

"Given our effective strategies, competitive advantages and consistent execution, we delivered another year of strong results," Pilgrim’s CEO Fabio Sandri said in a press release.

The company's Just Bare brand reached $1 billion in retail sales across fresh and frozen products, growing market share from 1% to 13% over three years. In frozen fully cooked products, Just Bare leads velocity among branded offerings with retail sales up more than 50% compared to 2024.

U.S. prepared foods net sales rose more than 20% year over year, with acceleration across retail and foodservice channels. The fresh portfolio benefited from robust demand, with case ready and small bird volumes from key customers exceeding industry averages.

Fourth-quarter net sales totaled $4.5 billion with adjusted EBITDA of $415.1 million, representing a 9.2% margin. However, the quarter presented challenges, particularly in Mexico where increased imports and weakened commodity fundamentals pressured margins to 1.8%.

Europe improved sales and adjusted EBITDA in the quarter, with key brands Fridge Raiders and Rollover growing faster than category averages. The region has undergone significant transformation over the past three years through manufacturing optimization and management integration.

Pilgrim's returned $2 billion to shareholders through special dividends while maintaining a net leverage ratio below 1.1 times adjusted EBITDA.

The company reported progress on sustainability initiatives, with declining carbon emissions intensity in processing operations. More than 2,300 team members or dependents enrolled in the Better Futures educational program, with 780 starting academic pathways.
